Re: [Game] Space Trash
Hopefully the programmer had fun creating this game. I would love an update with a little bit of flames from the thrusters and the sound that comes along ( even if there is no sound in space). My Grandson did indeed have great fun coding this as he learned! Nice ideas you have. Maybe I can persuade...

[Game] Space Trash
I've been teaching my 8 year old Grandson to code in PureBasic and he recently completed his first 'solo' project, a simple 'avoid and collect' game for PC! Why not give it a try and throw him a $1 to encourage him to complete future projects! https://andyvaisey.itch.io/spacetrash https://i.ibb.co/6...

CreateSprite
I'm coding my first full game (after a couple of false starts) after having already coded a few applications. I'm creating a sprite with: Global sp_LEVELMAZE = CreateSprite(#PB_Any, #TILEW * #MAZEW, #TILEH * #MAZEH) If the code repeats and then this command is encountered again, does 'CreateSprite' ...

Spheroid - New Amiga Puzzle Game
Spheroid is a puzzle game in which you guide a metal sphere around a maze of tiles towards the exit tile, within a time limit and set number of moves. The maze is comprised of various hazards and tile types, each having a different effect on the metal sphere. There are 50 levels to solve. Spheroid w...

Re: AmigaOS 3.2.2 released
In your second link, it says AmigOS 3.5 and 3.9 were released at the end of the 1990s. And now we have 3.2.2 released? How does that versioning make sense? I'm no expert on the subject, but my understanding as someone who resurrected his A1200 last year to develop some games, is that OS 3.5 /3.9 we...

AmigaOS 3.1.4 / 3.2
I've coded a few things in PureBasic using the Windows version, but have recently resurrected my A1200 and would like to try PB out on it (yes I know it's older and very different!). My A1200 is about to have a new 3.2 ROM inserted and will run OS3.2 from HD. Has anyone tried running Amiga PB using ...

[C64 Game] Chiller 2
Cosine Systems has released my C64 game, Chiller 2! This is dedicated to Cosine's C&C, T.M.R who is still in hospital (9 months and counting) recovering from the after-effects of COVID-19, at the time of release. I desperately wanted him to play test and approve before release and feel bad about...

Please take a look at the Twitter page for even more new PETSCII's!
We've even had a like from Levar Burton (TNG's Geordi LaForge) and a former TNG scenic artist!

Re: Star Trekscii
Thanks for the kind comments! As you get older, it is very easy to be down on the younger generations. But this thread is proof that there is still some proper parenting out there and some kids are still being raised right! My Grandson will be bypassing 'Scratch' and other 'programming' (using that ...
