I am a equal opportunity basic program, I even use VB.NET (gasp!) <grin>. I don't really have a home team. Purebasic does somethings better than iB...

Baldrick, Thanks for the example, It will tell me it's connected but I am still not getting any output but I can put a sniffer on the port and see that there is output from the sensor. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Thanks for the code, I will look further into it. Here is a bit of code you may l...

I have a sensor that I need to access thru the Com Port. I don't need to write to it, just rea...

I've got to try the MVCom library, but I would love to see builtin serial support in 4.0. That would be totally awesome.

Didn't offend me. I was just stating what I think dagcrack was getting at. I can see where he is coming from. There is a lot of people with only 1 or 2 postings on here that start new threads about PureVision. But that could because like me a lot of new people pick up PVXP at the same time they do P...

I think what dagcrack is saying is that people with very few postings (heck even myself as I don't even have 50 yet) can look very questionable when they come into a thread and start praising a product that is being discussed. I think that is why it is important on this or any other forum for people...
