Re: I wish for a better quality Linux compiler.
I do not believe the reasons as posted in this thread are technically valid. If financial factors are truly involved in the tech support prioritization, then Linux is likely doomed to perpetual poor support. There are more people who are vocal about bugs in windows than there are with linux or OSX....

Re: What should be reported as spam?
PB... not wanting to give you any flack (You have always been very fair with me :)). My personal take on the usage of the report post option, especially with spam, comes down to gut instinct and a little investigation. if it is a persons first post and the content looks dubious then I report it. Esp...

Re: I wish for a better quality Linux compiler.
Heartbone.... for once I am not gonna come out with something intended to annoy you, but an ice cold fact. The priority system with PB bug fixes is pretty simple. If the masses grumble, it gets fixed quickly. if it is just one or two people it affects, it will be left to rot unless it is a very easy...

@Idle... Sorry man... As you may not have noticed I edited my initial post to be more accurate, cause unfortunately my mind goes into overdrive and temper kicks in and I don't quite manage to get my fingers and brain engaged to work in harmony. So I will give you the opportunity to read the edits. B...

Re: PureBasic 5.22 LTS final is out !
So... keeping the posts going in here makes a kind of morbid sense then?  Sigh... I suppose that you are right. After all it takes chutzpah to even allow for any thinking of a 5.30 release with so many severe outstanding bugs in the core graphics functionality of 5.22 LTS . For fuck sake...

Re: Loading wave file from datasection, then playing it
A slight deviation from your original code, but easy enough to adapt to your coding style. you could launch a message requester as a thread... that way it would be non-blocking. If InitSound() sound=CatchSound(#PB_Any,?_SndStandard) If PlaySound(sound) Debug "Playing sound!" While SoundSta...

Re: Not sure if bug - Ogg Vorbis playback stops prematurely
I've had this problem myself in the past.... I suspect that it is a bug, but never reported it as I wasn't sure if it was a faulty ogg file. but using your test code and ogg file, I too can confirm your findings. The only way I have found to play the file properly is to use the #PB_Sound_Streaming f...
