Re: Dark Mode for apps in Win 10?

IMO with the limited resources available for the compiler development, I'd prefer better support for Linux than any significant development effort be put into support for this new Windows® 10 "Dark Mode", an obvious and lame gimmick , one that is not present in any of the other suppor...

Re: PureBasic and the Future

Multiple versions of the PureBasic compiler will last at least as long as my many digital personal computers will.

Perhaps even longer?
I'm thinking if the world changes to tcap based systems, there will likely be a tcap to digital transformer of some sort.

Re: OpenWindow

Hopefully we each will choose the best path for progress. For me it's Linux, and I remain disappointed that so few have decided to take that path with serious dedication. I'm not a Linux expert by any means, but I am comfortable enough using it, and I have booted into it every day for several years,...

I just noticed that everyone said Never 10 he did not try it at all He is just another follower to some one we do not know his purpose To clarify your (personal assessment?) post RASHAD , I am a follower of the most high. And I don't support Satan or his operating systems. Finally everyone is free ...

Re: Why I had to stop using PureBasic

Unless one is running unfamiliar programs, there is very little need to have an AV nanny watching your every move. Yes, the big business operations perhaps feel the need for such protection from stupid employees, but software developers in control should not be running AV except when they initially...

Re: ethernet IP connection with machine - help needed

marc_256, this standalone program worked fine..... two years ago.

It contains exactly what you are asking for, and contains an improved function for sending strings over the net (at the time).
Hopefully things haven't changed too much.

Re: Windows 10

This is insane, how can you tolerate it ? Uninstall this spammer now or better yet do not install it at all. Send Microsoft a message or live with your pants down forever with more crap to come, as if installing updates without your consent behind your back and randomly restarting wasn't enough. Bu...

Re: ElapsedMilliseconds() PB 5.60 B8

It was already like this on OSX and Linux, so I just did the same on Windows. ElapsedMilliseconds() is not from program start, it's between 2 call of it. Fred , if our world was fair, and technical expertise was given similar value to musical and vocal expertise, then you would likely be a very wea...

Re: Off Topic

If I lived any where other than Vermont, US I would switch to hydroponics but it gets too cold in the house during winter for a water substrate. I guess I could heat it up some how, but space is limited for me. I depend on wood to heat my house, so it's difficult to maintain temperatures. Tha...
