Re: Best way to print address books
Hi The latest release 5.4 beta includs the vector drawing commands. I have put these together in a print and preview include file which allows you to print dpi independent on, i would think all printers. To print labels from an address book is then a fairly simple matter. If that is what you are try...

Re: (Working On It) Print and print preview
Sorry to all. I have found the general feel of this forum to be negative with the freeposting policy getting in the way. I have had posts hijacked for what seems like personal opinions and most solutions to little problems are for the windows operating system only defeating the reason why I chose to...

Re: Enhance printer lib
Hi
Trying to do this in print and print preview without relying on printrequester.
Plus a little more.
The programme user must select which printer at some point but It would be good to be able to select a printer in other parts of a programme and not only just before printing.

(Solved)View Your posts?
Hi Only been on the forum for three weeks and I have asked a few questions and helped where I can. Now when I click "View your posts" i get a longish list of all the posts I have made. This makes it more and more difficult to see answers to the questions I have asked. I am assuming that th...

Re: Menu not displaying on MAC (Answered)
Reading MAC for dummies and picking up some tips straight away.
The MAC does seem cleaner than Windows and a little more intuitive. Just have to get out of windows mode at times.
Thanks for the support and comments.

Re: Programming on the Mac platform
Using PB 5.4 Beta. Programmed a small Print and preview routine that takes lines, text and images etc on a windows machine then moved to MAC to test. Drawing stopped each time. Problem was that the drawing functions stopped after displaying a requester either font or file. Not a restriction more my ...

Thanks eddy,
Pushed me in the right direction.
Now have a routine for displaying and printing all regular polygons from triangle to decagon and working on other complex shapes.

Re: Print and print preview
The code posted here is just my initial thoughts. I have not posted the code as is at the present time as I am still in the thinking phase. Landscape added after that last post and tested on MAC OSX as well. Problem identified with using on mac osx where if in drawing phase and a requester is fired ...

Just been given a tip elsewhere to use dropbox.
Just uploading code so far. So if anyone interested I can send an invitation to share.
