Re: How to create an online game ? (total beginner...)

infratec thanks. I played that game here for the first time (my planned vacation is suddenly canceled because of covid, so... yeah realy sad). The game works fine over my DLan. Now I do understand a bit more about what I need to do. Getting my own IP adress was quit easy. But now, transfering IP-adr...

Re: ReuniForm a free tool to create GUI.

...Maybe you should have better started with the basics of GUI creation and its requirements ? ReuniForm is nothing more then that. So, you didn't even test it but only just commented that white plane. And my "but the possibilities are enormous" was ment on the combinations that can be ma...

Re: ReuniForm a free tool to create GUI.

That GFX_Wizzard_BF... yeah, wooowww. Yet... I see pictures, pictures sprites and pictures, yeah pictures, nice. Yet, my little tool is only intended to have an easy use of the default PB gadgets. You don't need to go studying for hours and hours to get the simplest thing created. Not all software, ...

Re: ReuniForm a free tool to create GUI.

... Any professional app will support DPI scaling. A professional app wont be for free... I still don't see the need for a 'form editor' to have scaling options, you just use such program to set all gadgets to the scale you wont. You can resize them too in ReuniForm, so please show me a better reas...

Re: ReuniForm a free tool to create GUI.

Hi, i open it and see nothing, only a white plane. I think it works not with high scalings. Yeah, I did not include high scalings (why or when do you need that ?) Yet the opening of the white plane is probably caused by this setup in ReuniForm : Procedure OpenWindow_0(x = 0, y = 0, width = 800, hei...

How to post with Attachments ?

Hi, I'd like to post my free PB-tool in a zip-file and if possible a gif in that topic, which explains important functionality (zip is 200 kB, gif is (+9MB), how to do that ?

Thanks.

Re: #WM_LBUTTONDOWN event is not 'filterd correctly' ?

Thanks guys.

Both your sollutions woks, but created other problems, yet it gave me the simple idea
of using what I'm doing after the #WM_LBUTTONDOWN : x=WindowMouseX(Window_0).
If x>0 it is the correct #WM_LBUTTONDOWN, so thanks.

#WM_LBUTTONDOWN event is not 'filterd correctly' ?

Hi, I have a setup with multiple windows (like the code part shows). Inside Window_0_Events(EventID) I need to use #WM_LBUTTONDOWN. That works fine, but the first #WM_LBUTTONDOWN on an other window, is also recieved by Window_0. Why or how does that happen and how can I prevent that 'bad split of ev...

Re: WaitWindowEvent() 15

On windows it is the #WM_LBUTTONDOWN which is better and comes quit at the same moment.

Re: WaitWindowEvent() 15

Wooow #WM_PAINT definitely not what is needed here. Yet, it is fired at a usefull moment to be catch in my prog.
I hope to find a replacement, later on, that works too on OSX or Linux. Any idea ?

Thanks.

WaitWindowEvent() 15

Hi,

WaitWindowEvent() returns (also) the value 15 when I have left mousebutton down, which I'de liked to use (XP SP3).
Yet, why isn't it a #PB-constant and is it multiplatform-useable ?

Thanks
