PB 5.10b4 Calling external procedures cause seg. violation

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it's really annoying. Please have a look here: http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?f=15&p=401754#p401754 I'm using Debian Squeeze amd64 (Purebasic 5.10b4 - x64). The app crashes directly if I try to call a procedure (imported or accessed by CallCF...

Re: libcurl, always segmentation violation

Hi idle, thank you ;) I changed it and it works fine! Your post (http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=51656) was the final hint I needed to sort it out. also I don't think you don't need to specify the nulls in the import functions, but it doesn't hurt to do so. well, without the...

Re: libcurl, always segmentation violation

Fixed it by myself. You need to link the library the same way like gcc does (stupid me :D). Also, optional parameters need to be nulled while importing. Small example: Procedure curl_read_callback(*buffer,size.i,nitems.i,*instream) Shared ReceivedData.s PrintN("recv: "+Str(size.i * nitems....

libcurl, always segmentation violation

Hi, I want to create a little application using the curl library. Sadly I have not been able to get it working - still the same issue I had last year (http://forums.purebasic.com/english/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=41482). This time I did even a fresh debian squeeze (amd64) install on my pc, simply to ...

libcurl (linux,windows,MacOS) (x64 & x86)

Hey, sadly http://code.google.com/p/rwrappers/wiki/RWLibCurl isn't reachable anymore (error 403). Here a slightly changed Version of Progi1984 Code (ready for x64 linux / windows). LibCurl_Res.pb ;LibCurl_Res.pb ;{ Enumerations Enumeration 0 #CURLE_OK #CURLE_UNSUPPORTED_PROTOCOL ; 1 #CURLE_FAILED_IN...

Re: cURL x64

The memory is to short to hold the url! url.s = "http://google.com/" *mem = AllocateMemory(StringByteLength(url.s) + SizeOf(Character)) PokeS(*mem, url.s) Well, okay thanks for the hint here, but this changes nothing in this case since: CallCFunction(0,"curl_easy_setopt",curlsess...

Re: cURL x64

Hey Danilo, thank you for your fast response. It's not like I wasn't trying to do that: If OpenLibrary(0,"/usr/lib/libcurl.so") url.s = "http://google.com/" *mem = AllocateMemory(StringByteLength(url.s)) PokeS(*mem,url.s) ;Op.l = 10002 ; = CURLOPT_URL Op.i = 10002 curlsession.i =...
