Re: OpenGL v4+ Support for Libraries GLEW and GLM

By far not necessary. GLFW and GLM are not worth integrating officially into PureBasic. I wouldn't even use them in other languages. Matrix functionality is implemented within a few days (you'd only need 4x4 matrices). GLM/GLEW are no official extensions to OpenGL. If you'd wrap GLM, you'd hear comp...

Anyway, "Sim Brick" did it first, back in 1992 on Amiga: http://hol.abime.net/5854
But this is a brick, not a rock.

Re: Delete forum account...

This is of course just my opinion. It would be interesting to ask about this kind of policy on much larger forums such as Stack Exchange or Steam. I won't link directly towards it, because of other legal issues, but google for "Are internet forum posts considered personal data under GDPR?"...

Re: Delete forum account...

No matter how the data is structured, you have to delete all personal information if there is a request to do so. But is this only about information that was actually collected via official means like form fields / profile data etc? If I post the address of someone else then the forum software or t...

Re: Delete forum account...

EDIT: Users are not allowed to come in and speak trash, then ask to be deleted. That is not the scope of GDPR. There are multiple issues with this here: Privacy counts more than terms of use. Only if something illegal was discussed the deletion might be suspended. No matter how the data is structur...

Re: Delete forum account...

There is a reason to delete an account: GDPR But it is possible to keep the posts while deleting the account. Because you have to accept the terms and conditions when registering to this board, you also give off some rights. Well, these posts have to be examined manually and every piece personal in...

Re: CGI ???

The manual does not show how to build a CGI script, nor does it show how to interface to it. I assume that in PB you have to use the "Create Executable..." menu item. But it always creates a ".exe" file, not a ".cgi" file. So the executable is a Windows app, not a CGI ...

Re: PB 5.70 64 #PB_Processor_x86 fails?

Be thankful for bug reports, not angry about them. Just think about whether such a bug can occur without there being hundreds of bug reports already. This way no serious all-damaging bug would be ever reported. E.g. the floating point recursion bug we had a while ago. Usually bug trackers also keep ...

Which software do you use? X? Wayland? For X you can use the test part of the xlib, for wayland: no, it doesn't provide such an interface.

I don't code any more. Pretty much at all. But I love Fred and Timo and their amazing software products. I just bake now. I'm a baker. Here is my home: https://www.fortnelsonbakery.com Yeah, it would also be my plan B. My current baker works from 03:00 to 07:00 and the sales employee does the rest.

Re: Curve Fits more accurate than Cubic Spline ?

For every type of spline there are two possibilities: use the data as control points (curve does not go through the points) interpolate the data points (curve goes through it) However with many points, you'll experience the problem of overfitting, which means that the curve will create waves with un...

What is going on in here? Password managers like these are common. However many of the new ones store the passwords online on a central server which is insecure as hell. Using localstorage is much more secure, if the passwords are encrypted properly using the master password.

Usual issues when a model is only black:
* Are the uniforms set properly?
* Does the model contain normals?
