(My system : Windows 10 x64)
For a little while now, I've been using a font especially geared for programmers writing codes. And I'm hooked. It's just a great improvement... even though it makes little difference to the PD IDE.
The font I fell in love with is called Fira and can be found on GitHub
You can read about it and other similar fonts in Monospaced Programming Fonts with Ligatures. The article provides links to a number of referenced specialty fonts.
Fira works perfectly on my system, a Windows machine, but it is provided with versions for Linux and Apple machines as well.
If you try them, please share your impressions here.
I'd be interested to read what you have to say.

"That's not a bug..." said the programmer. "it's a feature! "
"Oh! I see..." replied the blind man.

A relatively new font for developers is JetBrains Mono (github)
Re: Fonts geared for programmers
Personally I use Dejavu Sans Mono for development in the IDE or a text editor.
It is monospaced and gives me the slash zero, which I much prefer.
For the finished programs, I'll use Tahoma as the default font. It is a very clear
font and takes less screen and print space than the popular Veranda.

If it's falling over......just remember the computer is never wrong!

Been giving Cascadia Code a try, since Microsoft released it.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories.

Re: Fonts geared for programmers
I have been using Source Code Pro by Adobe. Going to give JetBrains a try though, looks interesting.
