Printer's resolution

Post by tony »

Hello everyone,

I would like to print a box that is 1cm by 1 cm, no matter what my printer's resolution is.

I have found in previous posts that some people use PrinterPageWidth(). But it's not satisfactory as a page's size can change (US=8.5 inches, Europe=21cm).

Do you have a way to get my printer's resolution (for example 300 dpi)? I suspect I would have to call Win32 API, but I have never programmed under Windows (except with PureBasic and MatLab)

Thanks a lot,
Tony

PS: Fred if you read that, keep up the good work, PureBasic is one of the best Language/Compiler/API I've ever used. So far, one suggestion, maybe you could correct the English documentation.
