removing the FMOD commands, no luck.

removing SetFrameRate(60), no help there.

disabling the debugger - same deal.

building and running an executable, rather than running from the compiler menu directly - also no luck.

using Win XP (GeForce3, 512 MB, AMD 1.5 GHz)
