[Not a bug] Source Compiling Error

Post by wayne-c »

Since version Beta3 (maybe also B2) I always have to restart the IDE to make changes in the source code work. There is no error, but there is always the previous version running. After close and reopen of the IDE the correct new compiled response is returned. First I thought it would be ok to just use "Restart compiler" but it does not seem to be enough. Strange...

I did some further investigations: as soon as I manually delete the file "PureBasic.0" then the changes in the source code are taken into account. Before I can recompile and run the sources without any changes being reflected in the debug output!

ok I found the answer. this is NOT a bug! when I got my new MacBook Air I had to recreate all the shortcuts, and mixed "Compiler -> Run" with "Compiler -> Compile/Run"
