IDE Debug Buttons: Make them wider!

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

IDE Debug Buttons: Make them wider!

Post by IdeasVacuum »

When concentrating on what is happening in the App under test, it is all too easy, for example, to click on the debug continue button instead of the step button. Same goes for all the debug buttons. There is plenty of room to have wider buttons (best) or buttons further apart. Toolbar won't allow it? Just use a Container instead.

Customise the toolbar and seperate them with, uh, seperators? :D

(Not that I disagree with your suggestion. It's a decent one)

...yes, multiple separators either side of each button are my current work-around. However, they actually make the toolbar harder to look at. Sounds stupid I know but just try it!

I have replaced the separator lines with seperator spaces (didn't notice space before). That makes the toolbar much easier on the eye, but the buttons would still be better, easier to use if wider imho.

I'm using keyboard shortcuts for all such actions, anyway better.
What about toolbar maybe good idea to make it editable in total (adding/removing separators, buttons, or even totally custom buttons similar to a tool commands)
