I'd like to test the email changes Fred has made. Could someone make a reply to this post to see if my email will tell me about it? Much appreciated

Thank you chi.
It worked, and it's a relief.

I've been checking and rechecking everything to figure out what I was doing wrong... not one moment suspecting that the PB system that had worked so flawlessly for so long had run into problems.

Took me a number of days to get signed up with an account here. I had to give up on the original one I created as never received activation email.ChrisR wrote:It will probably also unlock future new accounts, users who did not receive the activation email.
Re: Please reply
Is there a way to delete a posted message ?
Now that the email problem has been solved, a new one may have appeared. Above, I see 2 identical postings of my last message.
For now, I’d simply like to remove one.
Any suggestion ?
———————————-
A little later…
I see in my latest message that there is an x next to the red exclamation mark at the bottom right of the message. It provides a delete function. However, that functionality is missing from the two identical messages posted previously. (But they remain editable, which is what I did.)
So, something irregular is still happening here.
