Programming 2D Scrolling Games Book - Free Now

Post by Krylar »

Hey all,

I've gotten a lot of requests for the book and I've just not been able to keep up with things. Seeing that I can no longer support the book, I've decided to go ahead and just release it under the Creative Common License.

I thank you for the book Krylar.
It looks like it should be a good tool to teach my daughter about programming.
And that is a very interesting title displayed within the .pdf on my system.
Keep it BASIC.

Just keep in mind the sprite stuff is not updated to the new "merged" version available form 5.20, that's where the most updating is required.

The book is very nice, I've read it yesterday before going to bed and it gives many nice insights to general game programming.

It's well written and easy to follow, thanks
"Have you tried turning it off and on again ?"
