How to Clear the Red Line Showing Where Program Killed?
If I kill a program, or it stops for one reason or another, I sometimes see the current line marked in red with a leading red ball. When I get this, I can't make any program changes. But I don't know how to get out of this state. Most times the error log just shows that the program was killed. Once it showed me that I was trying to divide by zero. What does the Red mean, and how do I clear it off when I get it?

Right click Error Log -> Clear Error Marks

Thanks. I checked the coloe settings, so know it was Debugger related, but still had no ideas of hwo ro clear it. U veridied that your instructions fit with my efforts to find where to clear it. Reminds me of an early observation where someone stated words to the effect that he had come to realize that perhaps 90% of his whole productive life in programming would be spent in tracking down his own coding errors and fixing them.

To change it permanently, deactivate the following checkbox:
File > Preferences > Debugger > Keep Error marks after an Error
File > Preferences > Debugger > Keep Error marks after an Error
