Here is a kickstarter to make Sciter open source and updated to use standard JS

While I really wish that Andrew achieves his campaign goal in the next 20 days, at the current pace of pledges I can't see that happening at this time.
I think a lot more fuss needs to be made for this to happen, and (perhaps) a better introductory video... But count me in 8)

wouldn't any of the mentioned companies benefit from an open source version of the software they use?
not sure why a software that seems to be so commercially successful needs kickstarter money from "mere mortals"

I was hoping this would get more traction :(

Imo Sciter's big shortcoming is that it doesn't use standard JS.
