Post by Fred »

Hello folks,

The rumours ends here. Here is the official v4.00 (Beta 1) public release, which raises PureBasic to an higher level with a tons of improvements. There is now native support for double, quad, unicode, thread safety, unlimited string, macro, and much much more. The change log is simply too big to post it here (50 kb !), so here is the link: ReadMe.html. Please read carefully this log, as it describe all the changes needed to port your programs to v4.00 without troubles. As you are probably already downloading the package, i will ends the announcement here ;). The last words goes to the famous 'Alpha Team', which did an awesome work to track down bugs and bringing nice suggestions.

Have fun, and enjoy !

The Fantaisie Software Team.
