This is very useful.

Just wondering if we could redistribute it (with appropriate credit, of course).

cheers

What do you mean with "redistribute" in specific?

I will soon be offering a program which includes a regular expression search capability. It would be nice to offer your program as a method users could use to test their regular expressions or learn about regEx's, since my program expects them to already have sufficient knowledge. I could include a link to your site to let them download it from there, but it would be much easier for them if I included the tool with my program distribution, giving you full credit for it.

cheers

Hi Didelphodon Bug report & request

1. When dragging down the scrollbar in the visualizer, this goes into a what i believe is an update loop which renders the the program unresponsive etc and i am forced to kill the process, this has happened every time i have pulled the scrollbar down. (w7 x64 ulitmate) x64 version.

2. Could we have the possibility to change font (REGEX HERE part) finding nearly impossible to identify 'f.{1.1} etc.

I have a trial version of RegexBuddy 3.6.1 way to overboard to learn what does what for me at this stage. Your tool is proving great for me to learn with. :!:

PRCE is a fantastic piece of technology, way better than the Neanderthal Club approach I have been using :?

Thanks

I've been already chasing this bug. It actually occurred when I was doing a work-around for PBs lack of live-updates for scrollbars. It's actually a PITA :-(
However, I will try to fix this bug.

Regarding the font: Fulfilling this wish shouldn't be a problem :-)

We've got a new version online. I'm proud to announce version 2.0 of RexMan.
RexMan is now "packed" with an explaining token-viewer. In the future I will also enhance this viewer to act as an actual editor to create regular expressions piece by piece.

See the changelog for further details.

Feedback - good or bad - is always welcome.

Cheers,
Didel.

Hi Didelphodon.

Thanks for the update :D just a thought how about putting the token in front of the tokenviewer$ ie

"S = Match the Character 'S' an unlimited number of times"
"* = Match any character"
"t = Match the character 't' "

Zebuddi. :)

Hm, interesting idea. I think I will do it as an opt-in. However, it might take a while to find some time again.
