PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
Just wanted to take a moment and thank all those who have used and supported PureVision over the past 20 years!!
It is hard to believe that much time has gone by and that we have been able to continuously update PureVision along with each release of PureBasic.
A new update has just been posted today and we have a number of new ideas planned for the future.

And just a reminder, if you are a registered PureVision user running an older version of the software, please let us know so we can provide new registration info for the latest version.
Cheers... and happy coding !!

I would like to thank you for so many years of support.
If I'm still programming with Purebasic nowadays, it's largely thanks to your wonderful designer.
Being able to manage multiple windows in a single project at the same time is something I personally appreciate enormously.
Long live Purevision

Re: PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
Thanks for all the updates lately Paul. My eye pressure has increased a lot lately and without having a visual designer, I would be lost and unable to cope with the code I have to work on.
The latest update to mass import/export forms has made it so much easier to update all the old stuff I had lying around or it would have taken months.

Re: PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
Are there any changelogs for those releases and a roadmap of the planned features?
Re: PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
Thanks, didn't find that one^^

Hello, Paul:
When making a copy of a gadget, the copy does not keep the font attributes of the original.

Re: PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
I just started using SpiderBasic and was wondering if the Custom Gadgets features will export to SpiderBasic, or is it PB only?

Re: PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
If you add a custom gadget to your form it will be exported regardless of the platform you are designing for.
Of course your custom gadget must be made for SpiderBasic if you want it to compile with SpiderBasic.

Re: PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
Dear Paul:
Can you tell me if this problem is due to the PVGadget module or to the latest version of PB (6.02 x64 in particular)?
Thank you very much in advance!

Re: PureVision Form Designer for PureBasic/SpiderBasic
The buggy SetWindowCallback was corrected with v6.02.
Info: viewtopic.php?t=81681&start=15
The message #WM_CTLCOLOR... go to the parent window. Thus, in your case, not to the window, but to the ContainerGadget. So you have to attach them to the GadgetCallback from ContainerGadget.
Solution:
Link: SetGadgetCallback
It is best to bind your callback to the ContainerGadget.
(But adjust ProcedureReturn as in the example)
